Meet Madelyn! Madelyn came to Akoya in hopes of fixing the damage done to her skin after receiving a micro-needling session at a medspa in Belize. The treatment left her skin traumatized with deep scars and hyper pigmentation. We knew immediately that through enzyme therapy and the right skincare regimen we would have her glowing from the inside out in no time ⠀⠀
12 weeks and 6 treatments later -Enzyme Treatments and an RP Skin Program - here we are!
Madelyn’s amazing dedication and commitment to her treatments as well as following the skincare regimen we provided played a big part in the progress made in her skin.
Meet Violeta! Before akoya, Violeta had tried everything she could to clear her skin, from laser treatments to any product that promised clear skin, but nothing worked. Her confidence deteriorating and her frustration at an all time high.
With a little patience, trust, and pixie dust it took about a year and a half to get her skin to where it is now. We had her on a customized skincare regimen with acne treatments every 2 weeks for the first 6 months and then every 4 weeks following. A huge part of her progress was changing her diet to remove foods that were triggering her acne and integrate a diet that was anti inflammatory and supported a healthy digestive system.
As her skin began to clear we noticed that she really began to come out of her shell and was much more comfortable with a fresh face. The process was healing not only for her skin, but her spirit too
- Virtual Client
Meet Karina! Karina is one of our virtual clients and had found akoya on Instagram while searching for a solution for her cystic acne and hyperpigmentation.
As a busy college student, there were alot of lifestyle challenges that we had to put into consideration when creating a customized home care regimen for her to follow. 3 months into following her home care consistently and virtual consultations every 2 weeks, there has been such a huge improvement in her acne and hyperpigmentation.

Susie came to Akoya back in February in hopes of brightening her hyperpigmentation and clearing up the adult onset acne she was experiencing after hormonal changes. Due to the fragile nature of her skin and all the treatments she had tried prior to coming to akoya, we decided to have her start a home care regimen and book her treatment after 6 weeks.
3 months and just 3 Enzyme Treatments later here we are! Susie is absolutely GLOWING, both inside and out. With summer coming to an end and fall just around the corner, we will be sharing her progress after her RP Treatment, but we are just so happy with how far her skin has come in such a short period of time. Everyones skin is different and results will vary. It may take one month, 6 months or even 12 months to achieve your goals. the time investment is definitely worth it.
Meet Burt! Burt actually came to akoya with a gift certificate for our enzyme treatment given to him by his daughter for Father's Day. As someone who had never received a facial before, Burt was a little nervous for his treatment and wasnt sure how much a difference just one enzyme facial would make.
The picture really says it all. he was incredibly happy to see how much softer and instantly lifted his face looked after ONE enzyme facial. The fine lines near his eye area were considerably plumped and the treatment visibly rejuvenated his skin with a result that truly lasts.
Needless to say, Burt has booked his next facial appointment for next month and is very excited to continue getting what he likes to call a
"Man-zyme". We hope to update his progress soon!
